Hello Friends. Please help me to resolve problem. My os → Qnx 6.4.0.

I create boot flash. Then create image in System Builder Perspective of Qnx Momentics. Size of ifs file 1,3 mb.

I have two proccesor modules xvme690 and VP9.

In my xvme processor module All work properly, i.e. system boot from flash successfully. But in VP9 machine when try to start I have

Hit Esc to .altboot… etc , then system is halt.

I try all possible setting of Bios but unsuccessfully.

My flash —>>>>> Jetflash 2gb.

On the flash I create QNX4 filesystem (type = 77) via dinit command.

But I confused. On the xvme machine all work properly.
Help me out , guys.

I had a similar problem on a Dell Server. The BIOS had some limitation on how big a boot file it would load. You could try making a smaller .boot file and using a flash file system to complete the boot process.
