Problems with NFS client

Hello,
I’m having some trouble accessing the NFS server on an AS/400, using QNX 6.2.1 as the client. I’m running fs-nfs2 and can mount the share no problem. However if I try to access some of the directories on the AS/400, some I can access, some not, without any apparent rhyme or reason. If I do an ls on the terminal, everything is present and correct, but an ls -l spews ‘no such file or directory’ for some of the dirs and files.

The same NFS share works fine on Mac OS X, BeOS, and OS/2 Warp.

Are there any known problems with the QNX NFS client, or is it just down the the peculiarities of the server?

Cheers

Garry

For kicks, try fs-nfs3. Also, are you using 6.2.1B or 6.2.1?

I did a search for fs-nfs3, don’t have it, but I am on non-commercial version… I’m on 6.2.1.

Thanks

Garry

Interesting - I didn’t realize we didn’t include it with NC. I’m not sure then, I know we fixed some bugs between 6.2.1 and 6.2.1B with both clients. You might have to wait for 6.3.0.

OK, I certainly hope QNX make a NC version of 6.3 quickly, even if we have to pay for early access.

Cheers

Garry
