2 problems

hello,

i’m new to qnx and have the following 2 problems…

  1. my soundcard won’t work
    pci says

Class = Multimedia (Audio)
Vendor ID = 10deh, Nvidia Corporation
Device ID = 6bh, Unknown Unknown
PCI index = 0h
PCI Mem Address = ec000000h enabled
PCI Int Pin = INT A
Interrupt line = 10

i have an amd athlon xp 2500+ with an abit board (nvidia chipset)

the second problem is my screen flickerswhen i scroll something (like a mozilla window)
my grafik card:

Class = Display (VGA)
Vendor ID = 10deh, Nvidia Corporation
Device ID = 181h, Unknown Unknown
PCI index = 0h
PCI Mem Address = e8000000h enabled
PCI Mem Address = e4000000h enabled
PCI Int Pin = INT A

hmm its a geforce4 mmx or something like that…

Nvidia sound chip isn’t supported,

As for geforce4 I don’t know but I suspect not (you are probably running the VGA/VESA driver)

You could try evanh’s vesa driver:
openqnx.com/Article209.html
which is much better than the stock version that came with QNX. It also allows you to tweak the refresh rate.

I might have to set up an account on qor. The existing server has been down for a while and doesn’t look like it’s coming back to soon.
