6.1 could be install in a FAT partition, but with 6.2.1 (don’t remember about 6.2) that feature has been removed. Your options are to create an extra partition or install a virtual machine such a VMWare or VirtualPC 2004
with 6.2.1, you can still install into FAT, just following this article:
