QNX DEVELOPERS GUI Programming

Looking for a plugin or plugins so I can play an avi file in QNX 6.
Do I need special codec files to handle the various types of
avi compression?
I noticed that the Media Player only handles mpeg files only.

avi is not a compression, it`s a container. An avi can contain mpeg2, mpeg4, divx, xivx, 3ivx and any other compression you can think of and every more ;-)
