PhICQ: Photon ICQ client for QNX RTP

Hi,

I’m pleased to announce the release of the first version
of PhICQ (v0.9a) the Photon ICQ client for QNX RTP (only).

Get it from the homepage : http://www.joher.com/phicq/

This is the first release so only basic ICQ features are supported:

… Socks 4/5 support
… Add/Remove/Rename/View contacts
… Incoming/Outgoing messages.
… Authorization Request support.

Like PhIRC, there will be a new version released every 2 or 3 days until the
complete final, so keep checking the home page.

(The next version will include: New user registration, Contact search,
Visible/Invisible list, Alerts)

Hi,

PhICQ v0.9b is out, the first release (0.9a) is corrupting the messages
database quite
fast, that makes it unusable, please upgrade.

Changes:
… Major bugs fixed (corrupted msg database, coredumps …)
… Minor bugs fixed (dialogs always fully visible, unknown user messages …)
… New user registration.

Next versions will include:
… Own info edition.
… Contact search.
… Visible/Invisble list.
… Alerts.
… Messages history.
… File transfert.
… Chat.

what to do with the phicq-file to get a working icq in qnx?
i managed to un-tar and un-gzip the file in a terminal window, but what next?

can i use the package manager to install it or do i have to do it some other way?
