I’ve installed QNX RPT and unfortunatelly I have some problems:

The video card isn’t working!
I’m using S3 Trio64 card with 1MB video memory. The catch is that i
can use only 8bit color depths at 60Hz vertical refresh, wich is
very uncomfortable. With my existing OSes - WinNT WS 4 and
GNU/Linux with XFree86 3 I do not have such problems - usually I’m
working on a 800x600 16bit color @ 75Hz.
Another funny thing is that the command line used by the driver
stated 75Hz , but the card is switched to 60Hz!
I’ve found in the common bugs section that the issue with the wrong
vertical refresh rate is being corrected right now, but has anyone
some workaround? -
The network card is not working! At all!
It is manifactured by CNet (www.cnsys.com.tw) with Macronix chipset
and is DEC Tulip compatible (though I don’t know exactly wich
variant of tulip is actually). The card works very well under
GNU/Linux with the tulip driver which comes with kernels 2.2.14 and
above (previous versions of the driver don’t work at all)
I’ve tried to give the io-net additional info - the pci index,
vendor & device id, even the media descriptions (10Mbps unshielded
UTP, cable class 5, half-duplex), but any way, the driver keeps
telling me “no device available”.
This makes me very unhappy, because i’m connected to my internet
provider trough the network.
