Photon on notebook with ATI Mobility?

Hi!

Does anyone have experience with running Photon on a notebook computer
with ATI Mobility graphics chip set? The MACH64 driver seems to have
some problems, at least with the parameter set determined by auto trap.

Best regards,

Jochen.

It seems to work just fine on a Dell Inspiron 7500, using QNX 4.25 and
Photon 1.14. I had to use the flat driver, but that didn’t matter to
me, since this is a development platform, not for field use.

By the way, there are a couple of gotchas on this machine if you try to
dual boot.

Before you buy.

Mach64??? I don’t think the Mac64 chip made it into any portable?

The Dell Inspiron and Acer laptop work nicely with Photon 1.14 (
in accelerated mode)

That chipset should work if you have the latest 1.14 graphics drivers.

I have a HP Laptop with a Rage Mobility (Mach64) and running QNX/Neutrino
and I have no problems at all… try upgrading your Video driver maybe or if
u are using QNX4, try Neutrino…
