starting photon in boot image file

Hi,
I’m trying to start photon running using the boot image file in
Neutrino but can’t seems to get it work. I included the server &
drivers to start in the script however, the photon server was not even
running in the background when i do a ‘sin’ after boot-up. Do I have to
include them in a separate script & call it in the boot image?

I don’t think it can be done. The boot image is limited to ~620k.
I would be very surprise if you can fit them.

You must be missing a few files ( like the dlls )

Hmm… any idea what are the minimum required dlls files to be included
in order for photon to start up??

Hi,
You can refer to the “Embedding Photon” guide in the online
reference. Typically, you will need the Photon server (Photon), the input
driver (input), the graphics driver and mode switcher (whichever graphics
adapter you are using), the font manager (phfontphf, if you are using any
characters in Photon), the windows manager (pwm) the applications library
(Aplib_s11) and phlib_s11.

Regards,

Jason
