Athlon,ABIT MB + photon= no keyboard

Hello
If I have photon start from the sysinit file on our athlon machines
(ps2 kbd ps2 mouse), the mouse works, but the keyboard won’t work
until I unplug it and plug it back in.

If I take ph out of the sysinit file, and start it up manually once
the system is booted, everything is peachy.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance
Nick

Yes. In general, things will work much better if (I’m talking QNX4
here) you don’t start Dev.ansi/Dev.con, if you intend to run Photon
all the time (this way Input will talk directly to the keyboard
hardware instead of going through Dev.ansi/Dev.con).

If you do want to run Dev.ansi/Dev.con, then create an input.node
file, and play with the -r -R options to the kbd protocol module.
You should be able to find a config that works.

We have had the same problem with QNX 4.24.
The Input from QNX4.25 solved this.
