Please tell me something about QNX training

Hi,

I’d like to register a QNX training on september, here
maybe someone have finished some courses or registering
the training right now. so, if you have some advice,
please share, thanks in advance.

PS: I live in China, if I had attended a fake course,
that will be so sorry!

Cheers!

Eric:

If you are interested in QNX 4.2x training ( not Nutrino), then I
suggest you look into our two Computer Based Courses. Our website is:

http://www.igetitnow.com

We have sold courses all over the world. Our courses come with a 30 day
money back guarantee and one full year of e-mail support for student
questions about the course material.

So far NO student has requested a refund. Also, (in over 1 1/2 years of
the courses being sold) only one student asked a question, and that was
about something peripheral to the course…but we solved his problem
anyway.

I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have.

If you send email to barry@qnx.com, he can answer questions
about registering for QNX training. We do offer courses,

will teach courses as well. I do not think we have any courses

Be careful about datakinetics.

I had registered for a course that had met minimum class size.
Went through a lot of trouble to ensure class was going to be held.
Bought restricted airfare to save money (on their assurance that the
course was still being conducted).
Soon after, I was informed that the class was cancelled (a company
cancelled a few of their students).
Too bad so sad!
Wasted the price of airfare – VERY VERY MAD.

Thank you very much for your attention.

When did you register the course? If they cancel the course, they
should let you know in time. Will they?

Hi Heather,

I have read all content about Training course on your web site.

My prime goal is to learn how to write a I/O resource manager in
QNX 4, but I’d like to get much more knowledge about QNX Neutrino.

QSSL offer two courses of ‘Realtime Programming under the QNX
Neutrino? Kernel’ and ‘Writing Drivers for QNX Neutrino’, If I
take the courses all, that’s too long.

If I take a course, such as ‘Realtime Programming under the QNX
Neutrino? Kernel’, by the end of course, can I learn how to write
a I/O resource manager?

Any advice will be welcome. TIA.

As far as I know there is no course on writing I/O resource manager
in QNX4. Maybe this issue is discuss during the course but
unlike NTO there is no “official” frame work for that. There are
template and a little doc on QNX ftp site (iomgr.tgz)

QSSL offer two courses of ‘Realtime Programming under the QNX
Neutrino? Kernel’ and ‘Writing Drivers for QNX Neutrino’, If I

The Realtime Programming Under QNX Neutrino briefly discuss
IO manager. But depending on your skill you might be able to
learn I/O manager on your own. You could also get Robert Kertn book
(www.parse.com)

Any advice will be welcome. TIA.

QNX Training at Your Desktop…with Your Success Guaranteed!

Oooh! Very pity!

But, if Barry have been on holiday, someone will be in charge of
QNX training, isn’t it? I have registered twice on QNX website
and have sent three mail to traning@qnx.com and barry@qnx.com,
NO one reply me. so bad!

Hence, I suspect you all on holiday or QSSL on holiday!

Whereas, I should appreciate your post, thank you Gary.

Gary, do you help me! I’d like to register the course at September 11.
But first I want a letter of invitation to apply a visa to Canada,
and I must get visa at least two weeks prior to visiting Canada,
and so, if Barry or anyone can send a letter of invitation to me as
early as possible, maybe I can take the Training next month.

TIA.

Sincerely,

-Eric

Why don’t you just buy the QNX and NTO books and ask questions

on this group? You can also buy tech support from QNX. I think
this is more cost effective and also save time.
