networked slay on nto2

Hi,

It seems that there is a problem with the slay utility (?) when trying to
kill an application on a distant node.

If I try to slay -n val_22055 pv for example, I get back the following
message: kill (2531368, 15) : No such process.

So, what is strange is that kill find the process on the distant node because
it gives me back the correct pid. And the corresponding distant process is
still alive of course.

Does anyone know this problem ?

thanks, Alain

the problem concern RealTime Platform with neutrino 2.1 and qnet network
protocol.

Thanks.

Sending Signal cross QNET is not supported yet.
The slay will be able to find you remote pid (by talking to remote Proc),
but can’t send the signal cross.
The support of Signal is in the plan.
