QNX4 vs Neutrino

Hi all!

Sorry if this is a FAQ, but I searched QNX’s site and this forum and could
not find the answer to my question:

What is the difference between QNX4 and Neutrino?

[My current understanding is that Neutrino is a more scalable (downwards)
and flexible solution – but are there any big differences? price, maybe?]

Thanks

As Murphy’s Law states that it would have happened, I found the Migration
Guide right after posting the question… All is well now!

Neutrino is a complete rewrite of the microkernel to include:
multiprocessor support
support for different processors
threads

In talking with QNX, threads in QNX4 were added onto the microkernel instead
of
designed in. Also, my understanding is that Neutrino is not quite there yet
when it
comes to the seamless networking found in QNX4.
