If it’s what I think it is (after cropping and enlarging the image
with ‘xv’), I do. Is that a Microsquish™ application error message
on the marquee board?

Yep, the image may be bogus though, as somebody could have created it with
PhotoShop

Thank you!

Xdfang

not as funny as Southpark the movie, when the military are displaying
stratigic plans to the troops using a computer running Windows 98.

is somebody compiling a list of apps that WON’T compile/work on qnx?

any prospective qnx users can peruse the list before they make any kind of
decision…

Postgresql sql server will not compile with watcom. You require gcc and
there are a few limitations. Get the source code and check the installation
notes.

These are very common, actually. A lot of people seem to use the stable
and supported NT for making these. I’ve seen dozens of touch-screen
vending machines (For example VR ticket terminals) and certain
ad-screens showing blue screens on them.
It seems a certain bank (forgot which) seems to be running its
net service kiosks with X and twm plus netscape. Can’t tell what OS
but it’s not the SGI netscape. I’m guessing Linux or *BSD.

I’ve only seen one such that was hung and that was because someone
had opened a dozen messengers on it =)

It is a pity I don’t usually take a camera with me…
I have often seen the typical DOS message saying there is a failure on unit
A and asking if you want Retry, Ignore ot abourt…

In Spanish…

“No está listo leyendo unidad A
Anular, Reintentar, Error?”

It comes from big CGA-like screens showing the temperature and talking about
the damage of polution on atmosphere…

I saw something similar recently at a McDonalds drive through where they
show you what you ordered.

I think Neutrino’s kernel dump would not look much better, if less famous.
Come on guys, this is childish.
