Can anyone tell me the skill of using watcom compiler ?

I use qnx4.25 for my application. But I wander how to tune compilation and linker options in order to increase the performance of my application.

So can anyone tell me the skill of using watcom compiler ?

I use intel P3 mainboard.

I don’t know what the small code model really mean.

I know there are some memory models for compiler. Which model should I chose for qnx4.25?

And can tell me the more about the near or far pointer ?
