Hi,
I’m pleased to announce the release of the first version
of PhICQ (v0.9a) the Photon ICQ client for QNX RTP (only).
Get it from the homepage : http://www.joher.com/phicq/
This is the first release so only basic ICQ features are supported:
… Socks 4/5 support
… Add/Remove/Rename/View contacts
… Incoming/Outgoing messages.
… Authorization Request support.
Like PhIRC, there will be a new version released every 2 or 3 days until the
complete final, so keep checking the home page.
(The next version will include: New user registration, Contact search,
Visible/Invisible list, Alerts)
Enjoy !
Shit there goes my project for school. Will the good news ever end?

Hey. I tried it. I believe I untarred it quite nicely to /usr/photon/bin/
– producing an executable file called phicq (size 717,040). But, alas, I
can’t run it.
I cd to the directory in which “phicq” lies. I type phicq in the terminal
window and I get /bin/sh: phicq: not found.
Help please. What did I bugger up?
