Supported Audio Drivers in QNX?

Hi, I’m developing an application using QNX4.25 & Photon1.13, I want to
add an audio card, but all the drivers supported by qnx are Beta
release, can anyone advise me about which hardware & drivers to use?

Thank you.

If you don’t want to use the ALSA stuff, then your only choice is to
find a SoundBlaster Compatible card (this exclude SBLive)

Are you saying ALSA is available for QNX4.25, Mario?

There is a version of ALSA available for QNX4.25. It is
not the latest version that is being worked on for RTP.

Note that Audio supports slightly more than just SoundBlaster.
I’ve never found a SoundBlaster compatible that supported
SoundBlaster’s 16 bit sound, however clones will also support
MSS (WSS), with 16 bit.

There is ALSA 2 source available for QNX 4.25 on QNX’s FTP site. The
number of available cards is limited, but for those cards that it
supports, it works. There is ALSA 5 support (source code by FTP) for
Neutrino, though I haven’t looked to see if it has been back-ported to
QNX4.

It hasn’t been back-ported and it’s not trivial to do so.
