at this point I guess you could call it a “dead mans hand”…
The graphic is a Cirrus Logic something (does 80x600 flicker free in W)
The soundcard is a “soundblaster compatible” something
The NIC is a NE2000 compatible something…
It seems like it is pretty unlikely that it ever will work…
This is what Win98 calls my cards:
Graphic=Cirrus Logic 5429/30/34/36
NIC=NE2000-compatible
Sound=SB16-compatible
Someday I will tear the hood of, but not 2night, im trying to get my other
computer to find the NIC first, any tips?
Tryed nettrap, doesnt work…

Well, it doesn’t find my NE2000 card automatically either, but once I
start the driver by hand, it works perfectly. Since I don’t
understand the enumeration files yet, I have done the cheesy thing and
just made an rc.local script that slays the io-net driver and
re-starts it with the specific options to get my card and ttcpip to
work. Sorry I don’t have the info here. I’ll try to follow up on
this from an RTP machine where I can see the line I used. Don’t give
up just yet.
