Network configuration help...

I just installed the RTP. It’s able to identify all my PCI cards and load the appropriate
drivers (except for the Adatpec 2940, whose driver is still in Beta anyway). The problem is
my ISA NE2000 compatible card. QNX doesn’t see it till I run nettrap… I can then load the
driver with io-net and then configure the device with the Network Configuruation utility.
The problem is that when I reboot, I lose the configuration. So, I put the io-net command
into my rc.sysinit file. Now it loads the driver when I boot but still doesn’t remember the
Network Configuration between reboots. I’ve tried using ifconfig to configure the card, in
the hopes of putting it in my rc.sysinit file as well, but it gives me an error. I can only
seem to configure it with the net config program (phlip?)…

Any ideas? Thanks

You have to run the network configuration as root. You probably
already knew this. I had to manually edit my /etc/resolv.conf file to
get the DNS recognized. Other than that, the network configuration
worked for me doing pretty much what you have done.
