Mouse

I have just installed QNX Realtime on my disk…boots well, but
recognizes only one type of mouse: the Dexxa (2-button)…and even then
goes erratic most of the time.
Please any suggestion on how to solve the problem.
I have tried other mice: Logitec (3-button), IBM (2-button)…those
don’t work at all.

Pourquoi pas aussi BeOS?

Can you post the output of “pidin ar | grep devi-hirun”?

Are these USB mice? We don’t support them yet.

I am sorry I did not give enough detail on my mouse; it is a 2-button serial
mouse on serial port 2 (a DExxa). I’ll try to get the output as required. I
thought that almost any serial port mouse should work. I also have 3-button
Logitec and 2-button IBM mice. They don’t work at all in Qnx.

Here is the result of the above output, with a 2-button Dexxa mouse on port
1:

315419 devi-hirun kbd fd -d/dev /kbd msoft fd -d /dev/ser1

If the mouse is erratic, maybe the baud rate is too high…how can I change
it. I think that “stty baud=9600 </dev/ser1” is only for the Terminal not for
the whole system.
Thanks for the help!
