Hi,
I am attempting to install the latest version of
QNX (downloaded the 90mb ISO version and burned it)
I opted to install as a windows file, because I did not
feel like partitioning in case I didn’t like it…
HOWEVER, when I went to boot the first time, QNX was unable to
‘find any packages’ or boot properly. I have a feeling that
it could not find my hard drive. Does QNX support IDE raid
cards such as the Promise Fasttrak 33 ???
Please email me as well as posting to the newsgroup.
Thanks,
Neil

Actually it does…but only if it doesn’t know about it. Check out the Arco
IDE raid
products at www.arcoide.com I’ve been using one for years on my QNX 4.25
system.
I haven’t tried it on QRTP yet but I would guess that it would work.
Later…
