QNXRtp and Apache

I have download the pre-complied binary for QNX
(apache_1.3.9-PCI-qssl-qnx32.tar.gz)of Apache, but I after installation I get
an error on startup…

/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start

/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd[1]: syntax error: `< ’ unexpected
/usr/local/apache/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started

Can someone give me a clue, I must be missing something stupid here.

Thanks

I think you were a victim of QSSL marketing lack of clarity…
You probably download the QNX4 version not the QRTP one.
QSSL marketing often refer to QRTP and QNX4 with the same
name “QNX”. However both are totaly different ok.
I don’t think anybody made the QRTP apache version available.

I believe the precompiled binary is for QNX4, not RTP. At least it
used to be when I downloaded it 8 months ago. (Works great.)

Thanks, that is what I thought.
