Mounting windows filesystem and cd's

How do i mount my windows filesystem? I want to play some realplayer and mp3
files, and it seems kinda stupid to download them again just for QNX

Also if you wouldn’t mind i would like to know how to mount a cd, and to
automount this all when i boot. I don’t know much about QNX or linux at all,
but is QNX linux-compatible, as in it will run alot of linux executables,
like ICQ for linux?
How about WINE, does that work under QNX?

Thanks in advance!

in the file explorer (what do you call it) to to /fd it has a directory in it
which says “dos” or something… Sorry for the rather vague explanation, but it
will work I think

If you installed QNX with a Windows partition, you should have a dir named

/dos/ on QNX filesystem. That’s where your Windows filesystem should reside.
I would recommend downloading Fatfsys from QNX’s ftp, as it will recognize
long names…

Same as above, but it should be on /cd0 or /cd0.0. If not, you will have to

run iso9660fsys. Is your CD drive interface SCSI or IDE?
QNX 4.x will not run linux executables, but you can try running it on QNX
Realtime Platform, now available for downloading on http://get.qnx.com/ .
You can try lxrun (never tried before though).
As for ICQ, you can try PhICQ from Jean-Huges Royer. It’s still beta, but
working fine (thank you, Jean! ). Or maybe a X-Window version on QNX
RtP?..

AFAIK, there’s no port of WINE to any of QNX OS’s…

Hi

If you are using QNX/Neutrino, your DOS drives are already mounted … go in
the directory /fs there should be another dir called hd0-dos (and
hd0-dos2…3, if you have more than one FAT partition).
