Has anyone set up successfully QNX neutrino to boot win Be OS PE boot
manager ?
The boot manager works great with Windows ME, Be OS PE (on a beFS
partition); but when I chose QNX Neutrino in the boot menu, I only get
“Loading QNX Neutrino Press Press Esc for alternate OS” and nothing happens
after that…
Yes, I did. Sounds like you might have accidentally chosen to use QNX’s
boot manager. There was a point during installation that you had to choose
to use QNX or the current boot manager. I also noticed that QNX install
makes its own partition the active partition, so you may have to change
that.

No, no ! I’m sure that I’ve chosen to keep my current boot manager (I did it
at least twice, very carefully !)
When booting, i see BeOS boot manager, and when I chose QNX Neutrino, I have
this message : “Loading QNX Neutrino Press Press Esc for alternate OS” and
nothing more…
Maybe RTP isn’t getting fully overwritten when you reinstall? (Just a
guess). Try deleting the partition, re-adding it, then reinstalling
RTP. Be sure to choose the option NOT to install the QNX boot loader.

I deleted the QNX partition with delpart before installing, and I’m sure I
Yes, I get that, too, and RtP loads after a few seconds. Not sure why your
system doesn’t boot. I did, however install in the following order:
Windows ME in it’s own partition
QNX from the ISO image CD in it’s own partition
BeOS from the BeOS pro CD in it’s own partition.
Yes, I’m running 3 seperate OS’s–I’m a glutton for punishment
Try posting on the inn.qnx.com news server (QNX corporate news server, I
believe). I’ve gotten incredible responses from there–QNX seems to be a
class act and isn’t afraid to interact with their users!

I did the same, excepted I installed BeOS PE, 1st in a FAT32 fake BeFS
partition, then installed from BeOS to a BeFS native partition.
