Hi, all!
First of all, I have problems to connect to my ISP.
The Modem is detected correctly and the settings are right, too, but few
seconds after establishing the ppp connection, the modem hangs up. In
Windows it works correctly.
The second problem is, that QNX didn’t detected my soundcard. It’s a
noname SB16-compatible. Is there a command like ‘SETBLASTER’ in Dos?
I hope you can help a stupid newbie, like me

I had a similar symptom, the text or ascII charactures where not showing up
in the terminal window, After 60 seconds I’m bumped off due to the lack of
password and name authentication, use the terminal window instead of the
script, See if logon name:
Password:
shows up, if it doesn’t the modem is not sending text charactures to the
modem witch indicates an “echo” on or off problem.
Your probably getting bumped due to the lack of password authentication
but their appears to be no support for telling the user “Why” the log in
failed just a generic “You’ve been disconnected” messege.
You probably never where logged in to begin with.
