why does vmail crash with newsfeeds

I’m reposting this for lack of a solution, why does vmail crash when it
finishes up pulling down a newsfeed.

Mine crashes right after the splash screen.
Does anyone know where the config files for vmail reside so that I might
remove them and be able to use vmail again?

Well I found the config files in the voyager directory (something like
~/.voyager or .ph/voyager , I forget right offhand). I removed those
and was able to get VMail going again. This time I didn’t set up any
newsgroups, just my one IMAP server for mail. It worked OK for a while
though it did seem to run very slow and hang once. When I shut it down
then tried to restart it again, however, it would segfault immediately
after the splash screen again :frowning:. I really wish this could be fixed.
Heh, I don’t suppose QNX would provide the VMail source code eh? :stuck_out_tongue:
Anyway, here’s hoping for the next release and I guess I’ll just use
ssh to my shell to check my mail in QNX.

did this fix the newsfeed issue, because if not the qnx folk lose a lot
of functionality in vmail and need to do some work in regard to this.

I couldn’t tell you, it segfaults right after the splash screen again.
