qnx people - could you please look at this

Hi,

I downloaded the free QNX distribution and installed all the relevant
development packages. Apart from a few minor nits everything seems to
work.

Now I want to build for an embedded system (i386 would do for a first
try). I’m trying to assemble an embedded image for a basic “hello world”
demo. I’ve built the image, and am now trying to build the loader,
etc. Reading the documentation I would expect to find src/nto and a
bunch of stuff under there. However, this is nowhere to be found. Is
there something extra I need? What am I missing?

Im also wondering where is my src/nto?!?!?
I have installed all dev. packages and… nothing…

I don’t know what the exact problem is with that but I think that when
you have a small QNX parition (lets say 100MB) the OS decides itself
what packages to put up…

NTO, although the docs say comes with the neutrino system, doesn’t come
with it /at least with the downloadable qnxrtp.exe /.
I had problem with that too…

What distribution are you using?

Before you buy.

You would have more chance of getting QSSL to answer if you post
in the newsgroup they run. Their news server is inn.qnx.com

??? QRTP is based on neutrino so it HAS to come with it… Maybe
some source sample are missing when compare to the NTO 2.1 distribution
but QRTP definitelay comes with neutrino because it is neutrino
