Savage4 and Philips LCD monitor do NOT work,why? thanks

I use a Savage4 display card and Philips LCD monitor. The LCD can work in
the mode 1024768@60Hz, but when I select the specification when I first run
QNX, the monitor just displays "please choose 1024768@60Hz". When I use
other lower resolution, there is something displayed in the screen, but
still doesn’t work.
who can kindly help me solve this problem? Thanks.

I don’t know if this is the problem, but I recall once hearing that
most LCD’s only support one resolution. When you pick a lower
resolution, sometimes there is an emulation mode that basically
stretches bits. This fits my experience with lap tops.
