Just got my CD

Hi, I just got my QNX CD in the mail. I was really impressed with the
Photon GUI. Unfortunately, I have a few problems with the OS overall:

  1. I can’t get my sound card to work. Crystal CS-4235.
  2. I can’t get it to run in 1024x768. Well, actually I can, but I can’t
    view it
    because there are horizontal lines on my screen.
  3. I can’t get Quake III to run. Something about Hardware not being
    compatable, and then it loads up Doom instead. I would like to know
    exactly what the problem is, instead of it just saying “I can’t work.
    Play
    DOOM instead.”
  4. I can’t find software online for QNX. qnxstart.com has nothing. Anyone
    know of a site like Freshmeat or the old Linuxberg for QNX apps?

You need a Voodoo card, I think VooDoo 3 or something. It currently doesn’t
use anything but glide for 3D rendering.

What do you mean qnxstart.com has nothing? It has tons of stuff. What
in particular are you looking for?
