Newbie - How to install Emacs under QNX RTP?

The Situation is this: I got the Archive with the Emacs_20.2-binaries for
QNX from ftp.qnx.com, copied it to / and unpacked it. If I no just type
emacs, it can’t be found. If I type /usr/local/bin/emacs, I get a “Can’t
find 8£”. Do I have to install something else first? Can anybody help me,
please? Without a decent Editor, I can’t do anything useful with my QNX.

Thanks, KWK

You got bitten by QSSL lack of clarity on this issue. You have downloaded
the QNX4 version not the QRTP one. As far as I know the QRTP version
is not available on QUICS.

Someone did a port but I don`t have the contact info.

Note that you can download jed from the QRTP repository (or am I confuse
with
www.qnxrtp.com)

Saying that vi or vim is not a decent editor is a very inflamatory statement
