My respect.
I downloaded your latest QNX OS.
I had a problem with recognizing modem on COM 2. I searched
through your documentation and found solve for this problem by
typing two lines in terminal. First one for slaying and second for
invoking both COM ports. I succeded.
Now I have two unsolved problems.
- Where can I save these two lines, so they start every time I
reboot, without typing it all over again. Please be specific.
- When I try to connect to my provider, it fails, like some
protocol is incorrect. I am sure PPP protocol is loaded and
functioning. It simply fails like password is incorrect. I was
connected with earlier QNX (one floppy disk) to the same provider
successfully. Please be specific.
My comps specs> AMDK6-266, 64 Mb RAM, 33600 Rockwell
modem,multi OS system, 300 Mb QNX space(on FAT32
partition),S3 Virge DX…
Thanks in advance…
Marko
You can save your settings to a script file in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
as for the issue with the ppp it is a known bug and is being looked into at present!
Thanks
