I downloaded the package ‘Real Player’ and installed it, or rather it
installed itself in /pkg/repository/qnx/rp7video/…
But whrn I try using it in Voyager it does not run. Even as stand alone,
when I double-click on it, nothing is displayed.
What did I do wrong?
Raymond
Try to start it from command line (in pterm type ‘realplay &’). You can
see error messages that way, it there are any.

Here is the result of typing, as root, realplay &
:
cp: Can’t open source file. (/usr/real/cfg/.RealNetworks_RealMediaSDK_60)
Failed to load the ‘rmacore.so.6.0’ shared library
Library cannot be found
True the /usr/real folder does not exist…where can I find the library?
Raymond
P.S. is there a command similar to Linux locate
or slocate
?
You seem to have a bad installation of the realplayer package. Try
removing it and reinstalling it with the package manager.
