hello, I’d like to know if there is a way to install QNX 6.3.0 on a FAT partition as it can be done in 6.2.1.
I followed the instructions of 6.2.1 but I didn’t work for 6.3.0
My problem is that the laptop has no cd drive so I have to put the iso in a fat partition and mount it during install…if it is possible
Any help is highly appreciated!
What errors did you get?
If you are getting
“Spawn of /bin/sh failed - no such file or directory”. as mentioned here, you are probably being hit by the new licensing stuff added in QNX 6.3.
Thank you for the reply! I’ve solved the problem. Seems the boot image would not find my qfs on the FAT partition…I had to create my own ifs on another machine to add -d /progra~1/qnx/boot/fs to diskboot and install by copying all files
As noc’s reply I am hit by the new licensing. Until now I am using the evaluation license.
I am getting the error
" Spawn of /bin/sh failed: No such file or directory"
Is there any way to work on the current installation of QNX further.
Please help.
