I need to purchase an industrial touchscreen for my QNX4 system. Does
anybody have any recommendations on this subject. The environment will be
very dusty and dirty. thanks in advance.

Hi Ross,
If you type “use Input”, you will see all of the protocols
that we support. If your touchscreen supports the protocol,
it will work with QNX4.

the qnx knowledge base has a number of hints on this (qdn.qnx.com)
what you want is likely a NEMA4 touchscreen that matches a protocol that
is supported by our drivers. please see the manual on Input to see those
protocols.
the problem in this area is that the vendors change protocols quite
frequently… go with a vendor that you trust and that is willing to provide
information on their interfaces… and will be around for the long term.
