I need to record four mono channels of audio under QNX4. Is it possible to
have two identical SoundBlaster PCI cards in an x86 QNX4 box? ( I know that
I will need to use the unsupported ALSA drivers for SB.)
It seems that using two identical cards is a “challenge” under Windows, if
not impossible, so that is why I am asking…
Why identical cards? Because we need to produce these boxes in moderate
volume, and requiring different cards would be a headache when it comes to
service, spare parts, etc.
Please be advised that I am brand new to audio programming, sound cards, and
QNX4…
Also, how would any of you suggest recording four audio channels under QNX4?
