Hello,
in an industrial application one or more QNX4 based control systems are
connected via TCP/IP
to a ‘server process’ running on a MS Windows machine (98 or NT) . The
server process on this
Windows machine is using TCP Keep-Alive requests to check, if the
connections to ist clients are
still up and valid.
The use of a net sniffer shows, that those packets are received on the QNX4
side, but there seems to
be no reply for them. As a consequence, after serveral probes with no reply
the connections are shut
down at the Windows end (RST).
Did anybody expericence a similar problem between QNX4 and windows before ?
What could be the cause for QNX4 ignoring those probes ?
