i have a cablemodem,the networkcard seems to be correct running,but the
network configuring makes me wuzzy…
where should i put in all my dns and ip adresses…in wich order,and what
is what,i have a list with all adresses i need to connect with the net,but
in qnx is all a bit different.ok i find the dns servers(name server?)
the gateway is ok too,but the rest is a bit confusing.
ive tried some possible settings…but i cant connect to the web

I have the cable modem as well and I cannot connect to the network
What I did is take the number from dhcp and fix it like if it is a fixed
address
The problem come from the netmask that is 255.255.254.0 (in linux or
freebasd from the cable modem) that qnx refuse it and use 255.255.255.255.0
so what i did instead of setting gateway 195.202.414.254 I configure
gateway as 195.202.415.254 and also the IP I have set to 1 more
195.202.415.160 ( I use your numbers ofcourse, here I use other numbers)

i already know that,thats where i try the whole time to config my
network…ife put in all the adresses,but it does not work… i think
ive put the wrong adresses in the utility .
in my first post ive wrote my network data,all adresses ive got to configure
my net,can anybody tell me in wich order the adresses are in the netconfig
utility?
i mean i have there a host (or something like that)
and a account … but i dont know what that is good for,i only have my
own ip adress,a default gateway,my 2 dns server,and the subnet mask,i only
want to know where i should put them all in,in the netconfig,thx
