how to configure node ID?

I have A and B computers, and I set A as boot server and B as general node on
the same Ethernet. I set A’s logical node ID as 1, also I want set B’s
logical node ID as 2, now I have rename sysinit.1 as sysinit.2, and change
“export NODE=1” to “export NODE=2” in its file.
,but when I type command “hostname” in computer B, it show me that “node1
bad value”.
how can correct it?
Any help will be appreciated!

Maybe try:

\

sin | grep Sock

and see what the hostname parameter listed is.
