I’ve got monster sound MX300 based on AurealVortex 2 - eveything is fine,
when i boot linux/win9* and BeOS
I’ve read on qnx webpages it should work under qnx, but… it doesn’t.
Is there anyone that can help me???
they have driver but can’t release it because of licensing conflict - they
obtained specs via NDA and ALSA drivers are under GPL… wait until they
rewrite it

The vortex 2 driver is slated for Patch B. I have already yanked my
vortex back from Audio Guru JamesM. I hope to be using it
in Jan when Patch B integration starts.

Note that this is not an official promise. It will probably be in
patch B but that is not guaranteed. We will be releasing support for
both vortex (AU8820) and vortex 2 (AU8830) when we release our new
non-GPL driver set. Once we have some testing miles on them and
we are satisfied with their reliability, they will be released.
We are pushing to get this process completed as efficiently as possible.
The only timeline that I can promise at this stage is that it is not
in Patch A.
