I’ve installed the free QNX RTP, burining the ISO image.
The systems boots anda apparently works fine, but I’ve a big problem: I
can’t connect to the Internet!
I’ve tried to configure my connection with the dialer, putting every
infromation I could, but whenever I try to connct, after a succesfull
handshaking, the modem starts to send a LOT of stuff to the server,
apparently BEFORE authenticating itself! Then, after a few seconds of
this behaviour, the pppd dies!
So, how am I supposed to gete connected? o_O
It has nothing to do with the modem (externale, BTW), it’s all QNX
faluts!
Chances are you are failing the pppd negotiation.
To see what is actually happening, try enabling the debug option when
starting pppd.
Note you have to start syslogd for logging to happen.
Then view the system log and this might localize your problem.

I have exactly the same problem! It seems to me that the problem
is related to authentification phase. I am not sure if QNX supports
MSCHAP which is used by many ISPs - it could be the source
of the problems. But I tried two ISPs with the same results,
one uses MSCHAP, the second do not.
