Newbie question - read QNX media

I’m trying to interface between MSWindows and media formatted for QNX.
Can someone direct me to a MSWin utility that can read QNX media?

(I have a series of technical devices that output results files onto
QNX-formatted diskettes - what tool would let me read the data into a
MSWin environment? This probably gets asked a lot - sorry to bring it up
again…)

Thanks.

I don’t think there is such a utility.

QNX can write MS-Windowns format. If you are using QNX4
have a look at Dosfsys or Fatfsys (depening on the version)

If you use QRTP use the -tdos option when mounting the device

Thanks.

You would be much better off writing to a DOS formatted
diskette under QNX if you need to transfer files to
MSWindows.

I don’t think that there is a Windows utility to do this.

I don’t know of any such utility.

If you can do some work under QNX, there are tools that allow you to
output to DOS formatted diskettes (or, even hard drives). The exact
utilities and the exact commands for invoking them vary over different
versions of QNX. What version are you running? This is likely to be
your best bet, though.

You could also use Samba on the QNX system to allow the Windows system access to the QNX Filesystem
over a LAN or dialup PPP connection.
