ISA Modems supported?

Specifically a Zoom 2919, 56 K, V90 ISA. Modem works in BeOS, Linux and
Windows 2K but I can’t get it to dial in qnx. I’ve been thru the
instructions and network troubleshooting (slay devc-ser…) Tried Serial
1 thru 4, to wit:

ser 1 3f8, IRQ 4
ser 2 2f8, IRQ 3
ser 3 3e8, IRQ 4
ser 4 2e8, IRQ 3

Help appreciated, thanks,

Larry

If all these OSs were tried on the same computer, boot up into one of the OSs
where it does work, then look at what irq/port its using.
Also, look at the Plug `n Play setting in the BIOS. Try turning it off.

Try yhis:

  1. Find a free IRQ;
  2. Disable PnP on your modem by setting the jumpers to the free IRQ.
Everything is OK exept IRQ3 and IRQ4.
  3. Use devc-ser8250 -u1 3f8,4 -u2 2f8,3 -u3 [IO address],[Free IRQ]

I had the same problem. Maybe it has something to do with interrupt sharing.
PnP doesn’t work properly.
