decent tools

Hi
I’ve been trying to program with QNX Neutrino for some days now. I was
wondering if there where some decent emacs-like editors out, providing code
formating, bracket checking and all the stuff. I also find the shell
unfriendly to use, since there is no completion avalaible, has anyone
managed to recompile bash for the system?
Thx

I use vim. It provides syntax highlighting. You can use for
command
completion. But if you want bash you can get it from www.qnxstart.com

I managed to compile the latest bash - I don’t remember the version and
my QNX/RTP system is at work.

Emacs for QNX/RTP I found somewhere - I cannot remember where. Perhaps
try to search this news group.

How about jed ? I believe it is comming with RTP. If you missed, you
probably could find it from QNX’s www repository.

Try JED, it’s an emacs clone.
