Just got the new patch, downloaded and cut an ISO cdrom and was
looking forward to finally installing this puppy. Then I realize
that my SCSI device wasn’t on the list of SCSI devices (I have a
BusLogic 946C), but tried anyway
The install image found my two IDE drives (fully dedicated), and
started through the list of Adaptec devices (aha, aha1, aha2, etc)
and claimed to have found an aha4. My first thought was cool - there
is support, its just not documented. But the machine hung
Since my CDROM is on the SCSI, as are all the free space I have
with my disks, I’m stuck In reading some responses to my first
set of posts about SCSI support (back during the first release of
qnxrtp), I found reference to devb-btmm driver that would work
with BusLogic.
Is there anyway that I can put that in the install image and make it
all work??
Perhaps you would be interested to know that Buslogic is supported,
they simply don’t mention it in the list. They have driver and it is
included with download. However, it is not in their boot image, so while
you can access your drives you can’t boot from them
