Does anyone know if compaq servers and RAID controllers are supported by QNX
version 4.23a. I am trying to implement a RAID 0 but any RAID support would
be fine.
You can use an external SCSI RAID with any supported SCSI
adapter. There is also a product available that will mirror
data at the file level. ICP-Vortex has a QNX 4.23+ driver
for their board level RAID controller, but I don’t know if
they are marketing it. Promise and Buslogic used to have
EIDE interface cards that provided RAID 0 using EIDE drives.
Some of these worked with QNX. I don’t think that any other
board level RAID controllers are supported.
