Hi All,
What SQL databases are available for QNX Neutrino and has QNX improved the
filesystem for Neutrino to make it faster?
I am aware of only Empress as a current, supported, database solution for
QNX Neutrino, other than the freeware SQL databases available.
Any personal opinions or experiences you wish to share would be very
appreciated.

I’m not sure whether those rumors refer to drivers’ framework or
filesystem design per say. Both areas need improvements…

There’s a rumor around that they are not satisfied with the current
file system performance and are rethinking the structure. That might
explain their not releasing the interface yet.–

Driver framework is what I heard. I haven’t heard of any
interest in modifying the QNX4 file system format. I
suppose that there may appear problems at the 2 Terabyte
limit, but that’s at least a year off.
