VERIFIED THE HARDWARE
I have a dual boot system and under DOS I have run the test software
which runs fine so the addresses and interrupts are set OK
FAILED TO LOAD THE DRIVER
I have put the following line in sysinit after the Device Manager (Dev)
line
Dev.s104 -N/dev/ser3 100,10 &
But the driver does not stay resident. If I manually try and invoke it , it
returns
with “done” but does not stay running. Has anybody got another copy or
any idea what I might be doing wrong ?
Application code I write terminates by saying “/dev/ser3 is not there” !
