Thanks for the help. Apparently removing that file is not the problem. The
problem likely is it isn’t created! Get no file message.
I understand it is written when the i/o devices (keyboard and mouse) are
probed for successfully. That appears to be the problem.
I get errors on boot that the function fails. How can I deal with that?
Thought the rm command of that file would do it.
