I am having problems getting PCMCIA uup and running on a laptop, Things are
ok if I disable PCCard enumerator during the boot process, but obvioudly
this doesnt solve the problem. Once in photon, if i try to start the pcmcia
driver system hangs. I also have no ssound driver (ess1869) and i get a
message ‘unable to mount io-audio’ . I would like to try and figure out how
to write drivers for these if that is what is required, but need some
pointers/advice on where to begin.
