Must be overlooking something simple here …
I just installed QNX4.25 on a new stand-alone system (4th system) from CD
(previous 3 were floppy installs in case there’s any nugget of info here).
After the install was complete, the system appearred to be working fine. I
then created a new user (me) with the same user name and group assignments
as on the other 3 machines and then brought over a simple executable via
floppy.
The only user that can run the program is root. File permissions are the
same on all machines, directory structure and rights are the same –
regardless of how the permissions are set root is the only user that can run
it. All other users get the “Operation Not Permitted” error. “./”
does not help. Can anyone offer any insights here?
Thanks.

Hm… what does the program do? Was it linked with -T1?
